Mapping your data column headers

From the Map data tab, select the file you want by clicking on the file tab displayed in the Uploaded files section. If you do not need to use the Foreign Exchange manager, select the Yes, Map my columns button (see Using the Foreign Exchange Manager for information on how to use this feature).

This will launch the Map column headers screen, which will display your file’s column heading names and the data below them.  You need to map your column heading names to the corresponding AlphaVAT headers displayed in the drop-down list.

At a minimum, you will need to map the mandatory columns that are required for all AlphaVAT calculations.  But you can also continue mapping your column headings, using the remaining optional ones. The more columns that you map, the more insight you will gain through the AlphaVAT Analytics and Reporting features.
